UPDATE:
The proceeds from Mighty Malone’s Traveling Circus Show’s food drive in November 2011 were given to the Stark County YWCA, which operates the largest homeless shelter program in Stark County. 34% of the residents of these shelters were children last year. So, many, many, many thanks to all those that donated food!
We were able to offer a portion of donations to the YWCA again this February from our show “La Petite Coquette.” It seems the number of children residing at YWCAs has risen to make up 62% of the people in need, so let’s see if we can’t use our talents to raise awareness or help solve the problem.
